Blogger is a great tool for doing both of these things!

I find walking truly uplifting, and would recommend it to anyone with mood problems. It doesn't cost anything and is great exercise!

A fellow Thomas Hardy fan? Isn't 'Jude' a particularly black one? My most recent is 'Return of the Native', which I found very evocative in its descriptions of south-west England and changing seasons. If you've not read these; 'Far from the Madding Crowd' is a captivating story, as is 'Mayor of Casterbridge'.peahenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395503525006623752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32561132.post-1161649369202643902006-10-23T17:22:00.000-07:002006-10-23T17:22:00.000-07:00Oh, Peahen--find this fascinating even though I li...Oh, Peahen--find this fascinating even though I live in the middle of the US. Besides a train ride from London to Blackpool, Jude the Obscure is the only source I have for the English countryside. I am eager to read about your next walk.

What a great idea for a blog!Scouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06209638721810105979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32561132.post-1161292530564609152006-10-19T14:15:00.000-07:002006-10-19T14:15:00.000-07:00… and Wood … g'yak!… and Wood … g'yak!divehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12938980502783421961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32561132.post-1161212032236523422006-10-18T15:53:00.000-07:002006-10-18T15:53:00.000-07:00.. and helmet.. fnar!.. and helmet.. fnar!peahenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395503525006623752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32561132.post-1161116697480545492006-10-17T13:24:00.000-07:002006-10-17T13:24:00.000-07:00Wow.
